In Photoshop, users can describe image edits such as replacing backgrounds, resizing assets, or adjusting visuals, while the AI performs the necessary actions automatically. Premiere Pro’s assistant can organize timelines, rename clips, and identify important speech moments within videos. Illustrator’s version can reorganize layers, fix color modes, and handle other multi-step design tasks.

Adobe says these assistants are powered by its conversational creative agent technology, which aims to simplify complex workflows without removing user control. InDesign’s assistant can apply publication-wide style changes and verify print readiness, while Frame.io’s assistant helps manage media libraries, gather feedback, and surface relevant assets for projects. The company positions the tools as collaborative creative partners rather than replacements for professional designers and editors.

The launch reflects Adobe’s broader strategy of embedding AI throughout its ecosystem. As creative workloads continue to expand across marketing, social media, and digital publishing, the company believes AI assistants can significantly reduce production time while preserving creative oversight. Utah has become the focal point of a debate over artificial intelligence in medicine after launching a pilot program that allows an AI system from startup Doctronic to evaluate patients and renew certain existing prescriptions.
