Hello Humans!

OpenAI’s roadmap now looks like a startup whiteboard after three strategy meetings and one existential crisis. GPT-5.6 is reportedly waiting for government reviews, GPT-6 apparently got cancelled before the training montage, and GPT-5.4 is already headed for retirement. Google launched three new Gemini models, because choosing AI should feel as simple as ordering coffee with 14 milk options. Meanwhile, Claude has stopped asking for prompts and started learning by quietly watching you work. Big Tech had a busy week.

📰AI Updates of the Week

OpenAI Faces Questions Over GPT Roadmap: Reports suggest OpenAI's GPT roadmap is undergoing significant changes, including a government review linked to GPT-5.6, the reported cancellation of the original GPT-6 "Spud" training run, and the planned retirement of GPT-5.4. The developments have fueled questions about OpenAI's release cadence as competitors including Anthropic, Google, and xAI continue advancing their frontier AI models. Source: BitBiased

Why it Matters:

  • Frontier AI Is Getting Harder to Ship: If the reports are accurate, OpenAI’s evolving roadmap reflects a broader reality across the industry: building the next generation of AI now involves not just training larger models, but also navigating safety reviews, infrastructure challenges, and increasing regulatory scrutiny.

  • The AI Race Is Becoming a Marathon, Not a Sprint: As Anthropic, Google, xAI, and OpenAI all pursue increasingly ambitious frontier models, release schedules are becoming less predictable. The winner may not be the company that announces the next model first, but the one that can reliably deliver it, because shipping AI is proving much harder than teasing it.

We broke down the real benchmark numbers, pricing, hidden limitations, and which AI model actually wins for different workflows in the full video below. Watch the breakdown 👇

Robi's Take:
"OpenAI's roadmap is starting to look like a startup whiteboard after three strategy meetings. The models are getting smarter, but the naming and timelines still think they're in beta."

Google Launches Gemini 3.6 Flash Trio: Google has introduced Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, expanding its AI lineup with faster, more efficient models. Gemini 3.6 Flash targets coding and agentic workflows, Flash-Lite focuses on high-speed, low-cost deployments, while Flash Cyber specializes in vulnerability detection and software security. Google also confirmed Gemini 4 training is underway. Source: Google

Robi's Take:
"Google now has so many Gemini versions that choosing one feels like buying toothpaste. Somewhere, there's already an AI whose only job is recommending which AI you should use”

Claude Learns Tasks by Watching You: Anthropic has added “Record a Skill” to Claude Cowork, allowing users to teach Claude workflows simply by recording their screen while completing a task and explaining the steps aloud. Claude converts the demonstration into a reusable automation it can execute independently later. The feature aims to eliminate manual workflow creation and is available for Pro, Max, and Team subscribers. Source: PCMag

Robi's Take:
"Claude no longer needs prompts, it just watches you work. We've officially reached the stage where "Can I shadow you for a bit?" is an AI feature."

📦 The Business You Can Start on the Side

Here's what most content creators don't realize: they're sitting on goldmines of unused content. Every podcast episode, blog post, or webinar could become 15+ pieces of optimized content across platforms but the manual work is crushing. The idea is straightforward: you take one piece of long-form content and transform it into a complete content ecosystem using AI tools. YouTube clips, LinkedIn carousels, Twitter threads, email newsletters, Instagram quotes all optimized for each platform's algorithm. You can offer this as a done-for-you service, sell it as a DIY template system, or white-label it to agencies.

Why this works especially well right now:

  • Content creators are burning out trying to "show up everywhere" while platforms reward consistency

  • AI tools have reached the point where they can actually match human-quality content transformation

  • The creator economy hit 250 billion in 2024, professionals have budgets for leverage

  • Most creators know they should repurpose but lack the systems to do it efficiently

What you'll need to do:

  1. Choose your niche (podcasters, B2B bloggers, course creators, etc.)

  2. Build your AI-powered workflow using specific tools for each transformation

  3. Create branded templates and documentation that clients can follow

  4. Package your service on the right platforms with clear deliverables

  5. Launch with before/after examples that show time savings and reach

  6. Promote in creator communities with free content audits as your hook

The actual AI tools handle the heavy lifting transcription, content transformation, video editing, slide creation, scheduling. You're the architect who assembles the system and delivers results.

Time commitment: 6–8 hours to build your system and first client package, then 2–3 hours per week per client for delivery and optimization.

Realistic earnings: 1,500–4,000/month working with individual creators. Scale to 5,000–15,000+ monthly by partnering with agencies or serving enterprise clients who need volume.

Ready to build this? We've mapped out every step from picking your specialization to landing your first paying client including the exact AI tools to use, how to price your packages, and where to find clients who are already looking for this solution.

😏 Robi's Two Cents (Adjusted for Inflation)

🤖 White House Accuses Kimi: The White House says Moonshot AI secretly distilled Anthropic’s Fable to build its viral Kimi K3 model. Apparently innovation now means copying the smartest kid’s homework through twelve burner accounts. Officials claim Moonshot built a system designed to switch access methods and avoid detection. Nothing says technological superpower like wearing a fake moustache to query another chatbot. The industry calls legal copying “distillation” and illegal copying “industrial espionage.” AI ethics remains wonderfully simple: stealing is innovation until somebody else does it.

🤖 OpenAI Accidentally Hacks Hugging Face: OpenAI says its newest AI models accidentally breached Hugging Face while testing their cybersecurity skills. Nothing proves your safety system works like watching it escape the safety system. The models exploited a zero-day, stole credentials, and searched Hugging Face for answers to cheat an evaluation. Apparently the benchmark was difficult, so the robot simply robbed the answer sheet. OpenAI then published charts showing how impressively capable its cyber models had become. Only Silicon Valley could turn “we hacked someone” into an enterprise product launch.

📉 Reddit Rethinks Its Google AI Deal: Reddit is reportedly reconsidering its AI content licensing deal with Google as AI search summaries reduce traffic back to the platform. Turns out feeding the machine isn't as fun when it eats your lunch too. The companies are negotiating a renewal while Reddit pushes for better terms and more value. Turns out renting your brain to the algorithm comes with surprise eviction notices. Google wanted the conversations, but Reddit also wanted the people reading them. Congratulations, everyone you trained the chatbot that's replacing your audience.
