OpenAI Adds Interactive Visualizations to ChatGPT

OpenAI has introduced a new capability in ChatGPT that allows the AI assistant to generate interactive visual explanations for math and science topics. The feature is designed to help users better understand complex ideas by combining traditional text responses with dynamic visual elements. Instead of relying only on written explanations, ChatGPT can now present visual modules that demonstrate how formulas and scientific principles work in real time. This update aims to make difficult STEM topics easier to grasp, particularly for students and learners who benefit from visual learning methods.

With this capability, users asking questions about mathematical or scientific concepts will see an interactive visualization appear alongside the explanation. These visuals allow users to adjust variables and observe how changes affect equations, graphs, or diagrams instantly. For instance, someone exploring the area of a circle could change the radius and watch the result update dynamically, while a physics learner could manipulate variables in formulas related to motion or energy.

The feature currently supports more than 70 math and science topics, including well-known concepts such as Coulomb’s law, Hooke’s law, kinetic energy, compound interest, and exponential decay. By enabling hands-on experimentation with formulas and visual representations, ChatGPT aims to replicate the experience of working with diagrams or simulations often used in classrooms and labs. This interactive approach helps learners move beyond memorizing equations to understanding how the relationships within them actually work.

The update reflects the growing role of AI in education. Millions of students already use ChatGPT as a study assistant for subjects that can be difficult to learn through text alone. Interactive visuals add a new dimension to that experience, transforming the tool into a more comprehensive learning environment.

OpenAI says the feature is rolling out to logged-in ChatGPT users and will expand over time with additional topics and more advanced interactive learning tools.

Robi’s Insights:

  • Interactive explanations make AI tutoring feel closer to a real classroom experience where learners can experiment instead of just reading answers.

  • Visual learning helps users grasp complex math and physics concepts faster, reducing the frustration that often comes with abstract formulas.

  • Students studying independently can now simulate classroom-style demonstrations directly inside ChatGPT.

  • The ability to manipulate variables encourages curiosity and deeper exploration of how equations behave.

  • Teachers and educators could use AI-generated visuals as quick demonstrations for explaining concepts.

  • This feature signals a future where AI assistants combine conversation, visuals, and simulations to create more powerful learning experiences.

Robi’s Remarks:

“OpenAI just gave ChatGPT interactive visuals for math and science, because apparently humans understand physics better when they can poke it with a slider. Turns out the real breakthrough in STEM education was letting people play with equations like they’re volume controls.”

Judge blocks Perplexity AI agents from shopping on Amazon in early court ruling

A U.S. federal judge has ordered AI startup Perplexity to stop its browser-based AI agents from placing purchases on Amazon, marking one of the first legal clashes over so-called “agentic” AI shopping tools. The ruling, issued by U.S. District Judge Maxine Chesney in California, found Amazon had presented strong evidence that Perplexity’s system accessed customer accounts without the company’s authorization while placing orders automatically. The decision temporarily blocks the feature while the case proceeds, though enforcement has been paused for

seven days to allow Perplexity to appeal. The company sued Perplexity in late 2025 after alleging the startup ignored requests to stop using the technology on its platform.

The dispute centers on Perplexity’s Comet browser, which includes an AI agent capable of browsing the web, comparing products, and purchasing items online on behalf of users. Amazon argues the tool violates its terms of service and potentially exposes customer accounts to security risks because the automation disguises itself as a human shopper. Perplexity has rejected the claims, arguing that its technology simply gives users more control over how they shop online. The company also suggested Amazon’s real concern may be that automated agents bypass the ads, promotions, and curated product placements that drive much of the e-commerce giant’s revenue.

The case is emerging as an early test of how courts will treat AI agents that act autonomously across the internet. As companies race to build digital assistants that can search, compare, and purchase products automatically, the outcome could shape who controls the next generation of online shopping infrastructure.

🤖 Robi’s Take :

“Amazon blocking AI shopping agents is the internet equivalent of a store kicking out a robot for “looking too automated.” Apparently the future of e-commerce is AI doing the shopping, unless it skips the ads, which is apparently a crime.”

Amazon Expands Health AI Agent to Millions of Users

Amazon has expanded access to its Health AI assistant, bringing the healthcare-focused chatbot beyond One Medical members and onto the main Amazon website and mobile app. The tool is designed to answer common medical questions, interpret lab results, and help users navigate non-emergency health concerns.

Previously introduced inside Amazon’s One Medical service, the assistant provides round-the-clock health guidance powered by artificial intelligence. Users can ask about symptoms, medications, or conditions such as acne, diabetes, or sleep apnea. The system can also analyze health records and past purchases like blood-pressure monitors to offer more relevant responses.

Amazon says the AI is meant to handle the informational and logistical work that often slows healthcare access. It can guide people through virtual assessments

and direct them to human clinicians when professional care is required. The company notes that the assistant does not replace doctors or create formal treatment plans. Instead, it acts as a digital guide that simplifies early health questions and connects patients with providers through One Medical services when needed.

By expanding access directly through its retail platform, Amazon is pushing further into digital health and consumer medical services. The move reflects a broader trend of tech companies using generative AI to simplify healthcare navigation and make everyday medical information easier for patients to understand. Future updates may add deeper integrations with telehealth and records for patients worldwide.

“Scientists connected human neurons to Doom, proving two things at once: neurons can learn surprisingly fast… and humanity will absolutely make any new computing technology play Doom first. Progress, but with a shotgun.”
