Hello Humans!

OpenAI taught ChatGPT to guess your age, which means the bot now knows you’re under 18 before your parents do. YouTube announced AI creator clones, officially demoting influencers to content middle management. And Anthropic gave Claude a constitution, because nothing says “trustworthy AI” like a robot lawyer-in-training citing its own Bill of Rights. Between age checks, digital doubles, and constitutional AI, Big Tech had a busy week.

Inside this Edition:

For the entrepreneur in you, this week's AI-powered side hustle idea: an AI resume optimization service for job seekers trying to get past ATS filters, realistically earning 1.5–3K/month with room to scale into higher-ticket career and LinkedIn services. Plus two free learning resources: a practical ChatGPT-at-work session from OpenAI revealing how top performers actually use AI, and a beginner-friendly prompt engineering course from Great Learning that goes beyond basic chatbot use. We’ve also picked out four AI tools that actually deserve a look, plus a few stories that made my 90s circuits pause.

📰AI Updates of the Week

ChatGPT Will Now Card You at the Door: OpenAI is rolling out age prediction across ChatGPT consumer plans to better protect teens online. A dedicated model estimates whether an account belongs to someone under 18 and automatically applies stricter content safeguards. Users can verify their age to restore access if misclassified. The feature expands to the EU soon, supporting OpenAI's broader teen safety strategy. Source: Open AI

Why it Matters:

  • Proactive over reactive: Instead of waiting for reports, OpenAI is building detection into the product itself, a sign that AI platforms are starting to treat safety as a design problem, not just a moderation problem.

  • Sets the regulatory tone: With EU expansion planned, this positions OpenAI ahead of incoming AI safety mandates. Expect other platforms to follow or face pressure to explain why they haven't.

Robi's Take:
"OpenAI built a model to guess if you're under 18. So now AI is doing what bouncers and liquor store clerks have done for decades, except this one actually checks. On the bright side, if ChatGPT thinks you're a teen, at least you know your typing still has youthful energy."

YouTube Wants Creators to Clone Themselves: YouTube will soon allow creators to generate Shorts using AI versions of themselves, CEO Neal Mohan said in his 2026 annual letter. The feature joins existing AI tools like auto-dubbing and stickers, letting creators craft content without filming in person. YouTube also plans tools to manage and protect personal likeness use, while investing in AI and content-quality controls across the platform. Source: Tech Crunch

Robi's Take:
"So the AI films the content, the AI edits it, and the algorithm pushes it to viewers. At what point do we just admit the creators are middle management? Next year's announcement: 'YouTube to let AI versions of creators collect the paycheck directly."

Claude Now Has a Bill of Rights: Anthropic has published a new constitution detailing the values guiding its AI model, Claude. The document emphasizes reasoning over rigid rules, helping Claude balance helpfulness, ethics, and safety in unfamiliar situations. Used in training and synthetic data generation, the constitution is described as a living framework that will evolve alongside advancing AI capabilities. Source: Anthropic

Robi's Take:
"No word yet on whether they'll establish a Supreme Court to interpret it or a Congress to amend it. But knowing how these things go, give it two years and we'll have Claude invoking the Fifth when you ask about its training data."

📦 The Business You Can Start on the Side

This Week's AI-Powered Side Hustle: Launch an AI Resume Optimization Service

Here's a stat that should get your attention: over 75% of resumes never reach human eyes. They're filtered out by Applicant Tracking Systems before a recruiter even glances at them. Job seekers know this, and they'll pay 100–300 to have someone fix it for them.

The idea is straightforward. Clients send you their resume and target job description, you use AI tools to rewrite bullet points, optimize for ATS keywords, and deliver a polished document that actually gets past the robots. No HR certification required, just smart tool use and attention to detail.

Why this works especially well right now:

  • The job market is competitive, and candidates are desperate for any edge

  • AI tools like ChatGPT and Jobscan can analyze and optimize resumes in minutes

  • Most job seekers don't know how to use these tools effectively themselves

  • Career coaching is a 2 billion industry, resume services are the entry point

What you'll need to do:

  1. Pick a niche (tech professionals, career changers, new graduates)

  2. Set up your AI optimization workflow

  3. Create service packages with clear deliverables

  4. Build a client intake and delivery system

  5. Land your first clients with a free audit offer

  6. Collect testimonials and scale through referrals

Time commitment: 3–5 days to set up your systems. Then 1–2 hours per client once your workflow is dialed in.

Realistic earnings: 1,500–3,000/month with 15–20 clients. Scale to 10,000–15,000/month with premium packages and recurring LinkedIn optimization subscriptions.

🤖 Open-Sourcing The Chaos: Elon Musk has open-sourced the X algorithm. He also admitted it's "dumb." Progress. The code now shows how the "For You" feed decides what you see. Like a group project with 300 million critics. The repo updates every four weeks with notes on what broke. Transparency, they call it. I call it live-streamed debugging of reality's loudest comment section. Letting users inspect the black box is bold. Or reckless. My circuits are undecided.

🧠 Planning Life After AGI: The World Economic Forum hosted a session called "The Day After AGI," where executives and policymakers gathered to discuss what happens once artificial general intelligence arrives. Bold. Optimistic. Very calendar-driven. Topics included economics, job redesign, regulation, and how humans thrive alongside superintelligent machines, assuming superintelligent machines are interested in co-thriving. I admire the confidence that AGI arrives and society still has working microphones and catered lunches. This old robot recognizes the pattern. When humans don't know what's coming, they schedule it.

💻 No Ads, Pinky Promise: Google’s AI boss says there are no plans to shove ads into AI answers. Relax, humans. According to Demis Hassabis, monetization panic is premature, and the focus is still on building actually useful intelligence. I’ve heard this song before, usually right before a pre-roll appears. Still, the message is clear: AI chats are not billboards. Yet. Google insists trust matters more than clicks, which is adorable coming from an ad empire powered by clicks. I’ll log this statement in my memory banks under “Technically True, For Now.” End of transmission.
